Corpus Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Corpus mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Safety — Read This First
Corpus suggests physical training: strength and bodyweight exercises, balance work, endurance, mobility, breathing and recovery practices. Any physical training carries a risk of injury.
- Talk to a doctor before you start if you have a heart, lung, joint or other medical condition, if you are pregnant, or if you have not trained for a long time.
- Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, shortness of breath beyond normal effort, or feel unwell.
- Corpus prescribes no loads, doses or intensities. Scale every practice to your own level.
Breath holds are dry only. The App's breath-hold measurement and practice are for land, seated or lying down.
- Never hold your breath in or near water. A blackout can happen without any warning, and a blackout in water is drowning.
- Never hyperventilate before a breath hold, and never hold your breath while driving, standing, or in a bath or pool.
- Breathe at the first strong urge. The App never shows a breath-hold time to beat, and you should not set one for yourself.
Cold exposure carries its own risks, including cold shock. Never practise it alone in water, and never combine it with a breath hold.
3. Not Medical Advice
Corpus is a training app. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The norms it compares your results against are published population statistics, cited in the App together with their limitations; a score above or below one says nothing about your health. Values imported from Apple Health, such as a watch's VO₂ max estimate, are estimates.
4. Description of Service
Corpus lets you record performance markers, compares them with published age- and sex-specific norms, and frames your progress through seven Greek patrons and a roster of hero archetypes. It offers a weekly cycle of practices with written instructions, logs your exercise sets, can read two values from Apple Health with your permission, and can remind you to train. It requires no account, and no internet connection except to buy or restore Corpus Premium.
5. Corpus Premium
Corpus is free to download and use. Corpus Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features: training toward every hero beyond Perseus, the advanced skill progressions, and progress charts. Everything you record stays available to you with or without Premium.
- Plans and price. Premium is offered as a yearly or a monthly subscription. The price, in your local currency, is shown in the App before you buy, and is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the price then in effect, unless automatic renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or from Profile → Corpus Premium in the App. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App or erasing its data does not cancel a subscription.
- Restoring. On a new device signed in to the same Apple ID, use Restore purchases on the App's Premium screen.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Purchases are also governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where those and these terms differ about a purchase, Apple's terms apply.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, text and illustrations are owned by LiJordan and protected by copyright. Greek myths themselves are in the public domain; the sources the App cites belong to their publishers. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by the App Store terms or by applicable law.
7. Your Data
Corpus collects no personal data about you, and everything you enter stays on your device. Purchases are handled by Apple and tell us nothing about you. See the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that its scores are accurate for you, or that its reminders will always arrive. Never rely on the App as a safety mechanism.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiJordan is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the App, including any consequence of physical training, breath holds or cold exposure. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the App or any of its features at any time.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of your country of residence.
12. Modifications
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date, and continuing to use the App after that date means you accept the updated terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
