This Privacy Policy describes how LiJordan ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Terra mobile application ("App").

By using Terra, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account or log in via Google, we may collect:

• Email address
• Display name
• Profile photo URL

1.2 Device Information

We automatically collect:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Anonymous usage analytics

1.3 Camera Data

When you use the plant recognition feature, we access your device's camera to capture images. These images are processed to identify plants and provide information. We do not store these images on our servers after processing, unless you explicitly save identified plants to your collection.

1.4 Plant Recognition Data

Information generated from the plant recognition feature:

• Identified plant species names
• Scan dates and timestamps
• Image references (if saved to collection)

1.5 Location Data

With your permission, we may access your device's location to:

• Check which medicinal plants may exist in your area
• Provide location-based plant insights

Your location coordinates may be processed through an external AI service to provide plant-related results. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.

1.6 Recipe Generation Data

When you use the AI recipe feature:

• Selected herbs and ingredients
• Health concerns you specify
• Generated recipe content

This data is processed through AI services to generate personalized herbal recipes.

1.7 Cloud Sync Data

If you sign in with your Google account, the following data is synced to Firebase Firestore:

• Your profile information
• Your saved herb collection
• Your saved recipes (including AI-generated recipes)
• Your plant scan history

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used to:

• Provide plant identification using AI technology
• Display information about medicinal properties and uses
• Generate personalized herbal recipes based on your selections
• Provide location-based plant insights
• Store and display your herb collection and recipes
• Improve the accuracy of plant identification
• Sync your data across devices
• Display relevant advertisements
• Communicate important updates

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, Firestore database, Analytics, and performance tracking
• Google Gemini AI: Powers plant identification, information retrieval, and recipe generation
• AdMob (Google Ads): Displays advertisements

4. Data Security

We protect your data using:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Encryption of data at rest in Firebase Firestore
• Secure authentication through Google Sign-In

However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
